Oberlanders Architects LLP

Experienced, award winning practice (established in 1983) delivering succesful projects to Clients in a variety of sectors.

The practice has received seven national awards - including a Scottish Design Award - for our work on 60 flats in St Vincent Place, Edinburgh for AMA, which was completed in 2006.

Recent commissions include a major mixed use development at Sugar House Close in The Edinburgh Old Town, a refurbishment of the Dundee University Architecture Department and Art School ( DJCAD) the Centre for Sports and Exercise at the Pleasance for the University of Edinburgh, the Framework agreement for NHS Lothian, a housing development at Slateford for AMA and a 1500 sqm house for a private client, which is currently on site.

Our redevelopment of the former Scottish and Newcastle Kegging Plant to form a new urban village, with 600 residential units, offices and 300 student residencies in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh for Grosvenor, AMA and RBS is continuing on site, with the first major phase completing in 2010.

The practice has continued its expansion by purchasing and moving into new offices in Melville Street in November 2008.
