Purcell Miller Tritton is one of the UK’s leading architectural practices. For over 60 years, we have been caring for some of the country’s finest buildings and settings. We are experts in conservation and the creation of innovative new buildings within the most challenging contexts: complex urban centres, delicate landscapes and the historic built environment.
It’s our proven ability to achieve beneficial and sustainable regeneration that sets us apart. Our experienced team understand the unique history and evolution, physical infrastructure and aesthetic quality of the places in our clients’ care. We deliver tailor-made solutions to maximise the potential and secure the future of diverse buildings and sites.
We work across nine sectors: public buildings, educational, residential, healthcare, cultural, ecclesiastical, hospitality, workplace and infrastructure. Each sector is led by an experienced Partner who is passionate about their area of expertise. They draw together talented teams from across the practice to make sure that we get the right people for every project.
With nearly 200 full-time staff and nationwide resources across eleven studios, we provide our clients with an invaluable wealth and breadth of knowledge. Our regional network means we can handle projects of all types and sizes throughout the UK and Ireland. We’ve built close relationships with key public bodies, including English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund, and we have an excellent track record for helping to secure funding on our clients’ behalf.
With an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, we are committed to an independently verified green and sustainable agenda, and we have created a pioneering in-house assessment, the Purcell Miller Tritton Index of Sustainability, to review the environmental impact of our projects. Our commitment to sustainable practice was recognised by being named in the Top 60 Sunday Times Best Green Companies of 2010.
The practice has won numerous prestigious awards for its work from, among others, the RIBA, RICS, the Civic Trust and the British Construction Industry.
